1. Overview

This policy covers the information collected through dannyscarrental.com — the website itself, not Turo, where actual bookings are completed. Turo has its own separate privacy policy that governs any information you provide there.

2. Information We Collect

The only information this website actively collects is what you choose to submit through our contact form: your name, an email address and/or phone number, your message, and, if applicable, which page you contacted us from. We don’t require an account, and this site doesn’t process payments or bookings directly.

Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information for every visitor (such as IP address and request timestamps) for security and abuse prevention, the same way most websites do. We don’t use this to identify individual visitors for marketing purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your inquiry — for example, a question about a vehicle, a long-term rental, or an insurance-replacement rental. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.

4. Cookies, Local Storage & Analytics

This site stores one small piece of information in your browser’s local storage: your light/dark theme preference. It contains no personal information and isn’t shared with anyone.

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how the site is used and to keep it fast: Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which measure page views and performance without using cookies, and — where configured — Google Analytics 4, which may set cookies to measure site usage. We only send these services non-identifying information, such as which page was visited, which vehicle page was viewed, or which call or booking button was clicked. We never send your name, email address, phone number, or the contents of your message to any analytics service, and we don’t run advertising trackers.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Turo to process actual vehicle bookings; Resend, an email delivery service, to route contact form submissions to our team; and Vercel, which hosts this site and provides the cookieless analytics and performance measurement described above. Where Google Analytics is configured, Google also processes the non-identifying usage information described in Section 4. Each service receives only what’s described here and has its own privacy practices governing how it handles that information.

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are delivered to our team’s email inbox and retained there as part of normal business correspondence. We don’t maintain a separate marketing database of contact form submissions.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You can choose not to submit the contact form and browse the site without providing any personal information. If you’d like us to delete information you’ve previously submitted, contact us using the details below and we’ll honor that request.

8. Children’s Privacy

This site is intended for adults arranging vehicle rentals and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated version of this page.
